An AV installer focuses on running wires, mounting speakers, and making sure the system turns on. As a calibrator, I focus on the physics of the room. I tune the crossovers, delays, and resonances so the equipment actually performs at its peak. Think of the installer as the team that builds the sports car, and the calibrator as the specialized track engineer who tunes the engine for maximum performance.
